16th & 17th century Ottoman design. In the Qurans and in other manuscript books the mostly illuminated pages are the so called “Zahriye” pages. “Zahriye” page is the first page after the book`s cover.
Decorated with Rumi and classic Tazhib painting techniques. The centre round section is 24 carat gold.
