Tughra (Insignia) of Sultan Süleiman the Magnificent. Tughra is a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of a sultan that was affixed to all official documents and correspondences a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of a sultan that was affixed to all official documents and correspondence.
Internal design of Tughra is decorated with classic Tazhib painting technique on gold. Internal design of the moon is decorated with Rumi motifs on gold base.
